SMART CARDS

This serves to inform all students that some 4428 students who have never presented themselves to have their details captured for purposes of printing smart ID cards.  Data for 827 students was captured but lost and cannot be traced by the service provider (Equity Bank).  Smart cards for 391 students have been delivered but owners have not collected.  Please check to see if your smart card is among the 391 which were delivered.  Also, please check to be sure you are not one of the 827 students whose data were lost.

All those who have never presented themselves and those whose data got lost must present themselves on Thursday 31^st October 2019 and Friday 1^st November 2019 to the agents of Equity Bank.  The agents will be at the bus park next to the main University gate starting at 9.00 a.m.

Please note that the University will soon install a biometric system at the entrance and students without smart cards will not access the University.  Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) will soon stop disbursing funds to University students who don’t have smart cards.
