PEER COUNSELORS RECRUITMENT

The University Counseling & Mental Wellness Section take this precious moment to welcome all new students and those in second year of study, to apply for the opportunity to be trained as Peer Counselors, who can volunteer and offer psycho-social support to their peers.

The interested applicants will undergo a short training in basic counseling skills and should have the following requirements-:

• Be a Bonafide student of Machakos University.
• Be a first year or second year at the University.
• Be available to attend a mandatory intensive training and subsequent supervision.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a good role-model.
