Dr. Larry Ndivo is a Senior Lecturer in Literature and the Dean, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has a 1st Class Honours BA Degree (Linguistics, Literature & Kiswahili) 2001, MA (Literature) 2005 and PhD (Literature) 2013 all from the University of Nairobi.

He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa 2014-2015. As a Postdoc Fellow, he engaged in research on confessional narratives in the Department of Trauma, Forgiveness and Reconciliation Studies under the tutelage of Prof. Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela.

Current Project: Language(s), Capabilities and Humanisation in Higher Education in Tanzania and Kenya: Developing and applying a multi-dimensional, interdisciplinary, and contextually-relevant framework – CO-Investigator: ODA International Interdisciplinary Research Projects 2024 supported by the British Academy:
