FAKE INFORMATION ON CLOSURE OF THE UNIVERSITY

This is to bring to the attention of student and staff of Machakos University together with the general public that contrary to the information being transmitted on local media, Machakos University is not closed. The University’s operations have not been disrupted after the confirmation of the first case of Corona virus (COVID-19) in the country.

The University is on high alert and has put measures in place as advised by the Government. Except for activities that were cancelled nationwide, students and staff are hereby advised to continue with classes and other operations as usual
