ELEVATING EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION: APPOINTMENT OF PROF. JOYCE JEPKIRUI AGALO AS VICE-CHANCELLOR OF MACHAKOS UNIVERSITY

Machakos University is thrilled to announce a new chapter of excellence following the appointment of Prof. Joyce Jepkirui Agalo, Ph.D. as the substantive Vice-Chancellor of Machakos University. Prof. Agalo brings a distinguished record of leadership and academic achievement to her new role. She holds Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education Communication and Technology and before her appointment she had served Machakos University as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Academics and Students Affairs (2017-2023). 

She is a dedicated educator, researcher and committed to fostering an environment of academic rigor, research advancement and holistic student development that aligns perfectly with the University’s mission. Her wealth of experience and a passion for academia is without doubt set to lead Machakos University into an era of educational excellence and innovation.

As we look forward to a future filled with academic excellence and community engagement under her leadership.
